iwxml_validate.ipl doesn't recognize iw_pt

Hi,
I tried validating a "working" .tpl(presentation template) file. I know it's valid because ( I didn't write it Smiley Happy

kidding.. ) it came with the software as a sample presentation template file. When I tried validating /templatedata/internet/pr/pr1.tpl. with iwxml_validate.ipl it doesn't recognize any of the following tags: iw_pt, iw_include, iw_value...But this template file wonderfully generates .html pages.
Why does the iwxml_validate.ipl script says it's not a valid XML file and gives tons of errors? Is there any other method to check the validity of .tpl files?

Because iwmxl_validate.ipl attempts to validate against a DTD, which isn't typically specified as a part of a presentation template. It really can't because, other than the <iw_...> tags, Interwoven has no idea what tags you might be including in your PT.

If all you want to do is ensure that the file is well-formed XML, then add the -well flag to the iwxml_validate.ipl command line. However, be aware that a PT doesn't even need to be well-formed.
