New Job Button vs. New Job Drop Down (CCPro)
mstevens
Can anyone explain why the New Job button in CCPro (Top right hand side in the Tasks tab) works differently then the New Job option in the Action DropDown (On the Content Tab)? I have a Branch List set in available_templates.cfg to filter one workflow for one branch. The filter works fine from the Content Tab Action dropdown, but does not work from the Tasks Tab New Job Button???

The Content Tab has a sense of where you are.
The Tasks Tab has no sense of where you are.
This is not really any different than the behavior in WDP where running a New Job from the File menu had context and running New Job from within the To Do List did not.

I've been trying to disable "new job" button in the workflow tab with no success.
Anybody knows its reference for UIT ?
We need that, since all of our workflows are context sensitive

I think it's _iw.ccpro.new_job.link and that you would need to do an iwov_delete of it within the workflow_custom.xml file
(haven't tried - just doing some grep'ing)

As some have recently noticed, this button and the heading it's contained in isn't exposed in the UITK. There's a bug open on this that we hope to resolve pretty soon!

Michelle,
Does this fix pertain to the "New Job" link at the top of the Tasks portlet in CC Std as well?
And do you have any idea when the SP will be out?
Thanks,
Nutt

Yes it does!
I'm not certain when the SP will be out, but I hear it's coming really soon...

In this mornings TS6 Q&A webcast the tech and marketing folks indicated end of Q2 for 6.1 SP1, which implies end-of-June.

Lissa,
We are looking to schedule our upgrade from TeamSite 6.0 to 6.1 this month. Should we hold off and go from TeamSite 6.0 to 6.1 SP1? Will we even be able to go that route or will we have to go 6.0 -> 6.1 -> 6.1 SP1? Finally, when will an "official" date for the SP1 release be established?
Thanks in advance!

You'll have to upgrade to 6.1 first before you can go to 6.1 SP1 since SP1 is applied on top of 6.1. However, if you wait for the SP1 release you can do both the upgrade and the SP at the same time rather than doing one and then doing the other a week later or so.
