DAS - Overriding Interwoven generated table names

Hi,

During DAS setup(using user defined schema) , Interwoven creates a initial set of base and delta tables as per the dschema.cfg file.However the names of these tables are also provided by Interwoven.
I want to customize the table names .I tried by specifying the table name in the 'table ' attribute of the group tag.
But it is not working.Any solutions ?

correct me if im wrong, but the evil interwoven IWT_ table names are automatically created if your table names exceed the "max-id-length" attribute set in database.xml

i think oracle only supports table names of 30 chars max, not sure about others.

this caused us numerous problems as some tables had over 30 char names, forcing creation of the IWT_ tables. others didnt so they were named more logically (category_datatype) or something similar.

if you want to force all tables to be named with IWT_, set the "max-id-length" to a low number
