Single quote (') in DCR filename

Hi,

“Select Asset (File)” dialogue box (TeamSite GUI) throws JavaScript error while entering into the sub-folders that has the DCRs with the single quotes in their filename. Could someone suggest a solution for this problem? Our client is strict about using single quote. So, I need to fix this.

I understand this error is because of a single quote appears in between a pair of single quotes (something like 'file'name') in JavaScript.

Could someone suggest the ASCII chars that should be allowed in DCR filename?

because IWOV engineers have always been notorious for treating (or not treating) special characters in many circumstances, I make my clients to enforce naming conventions. Thus, only lower case alphanumeric characters are allowed plus underscores. This reduces the issues that you have just experienced, to the minimum. The users that have such an issue are reffered to the naming convention...

I am afraid you hit another bug....
