Form Load Time
gschwa
Does anyone else find it frustrating on how long it takes to open up a form? On one of our forms before adding any additional replicants it has to download like 400+ images?
any suggestions?
We are running TeamSite 6.1.0 SP1

Indeed Forms are slow to load, but at least they are a bit quicker to use these days, without refreshing when doing things adding replicants and what-have-you.
That said, by my count a fairly simple form is referencing about 80 images, 30 stylesheets + the actual html. I don't know how heavy that makes it in total, but I don't think it is a light page to get down the wire.
How is it that your form has to download 400+ images. Perhaps you could explain further and/or attach a DCT to demonstrate?
As to suggestions for improvements -- there are the usual: faster network, CPUs, hard drives, memory, more CPUs and memory. Any other suggestions would have to be more specific to your scenario -- there are different approaches you can take if you do a lot of inline callouts or if you have a lot of DB connectivity...
