iframe in VisualFormatter

Hi everyone! I am trying to insert an iframe into my editor. It inserts fine, but when I go to the View Source view, I get an error saying that > is missing for iframe. I go to look at the code, and I discover that at the end of the iframe tag, I see "iframe<></iframe>. This was not what I pasted in. Has anyone seen this behaviour before? I am not sure what to think here.
