How to create DCR programatically.

We have a requirement where the end user fills a web form ( a jsp) and we need to take the contents from the web form and create a DCR in the TeamSite. Is it possible to do this with CSSDK API? If not, Can you please provide some suggestions on how to achieve this kind of requirement?

Hi Ashish,

You can create an XML file in Java. Read the contents from the JSP page and create the XML file (in exactly the same format as your DCR). I guess you should be having a DCT for the similar JSP page. See how the DCR looks when you save the DCT. Designe a Schema for your XML.
Remember to set the extended attributes after you create your DCR via Java.
