Updating TS5.5

Hello everyone,

I plan to migrate vom TS5.5 to the current version 6.5 (WS2k).
In general, is it possible to just install the new software package without de-installing the previous version? Does it have any impact on the existing branches, workareas, etc. ?

Upgrading from TS 5.5.2 to TS 6.1 didn't require an uninstall. It simply upgraded the existing installation to the new version. Not sure about 6.5.

You should be able to do an in-place upgrade from TS 5.5.2 SP6 to TS 6.5. If you are on earlier service packs on 5.5.2, you should first install SP6 and then perform the upgrade.
