DBD\DBI issue with PERL 5.8.2 version

We are on TS6.1 on a W2K platform with Oracle 9i as the backend database. We had to upgrade the DBD\DBI version to match the 5.8.2 Perl version.

Our DBD version is 1.15 and DBI version is 1.38. The DBD\DBI install proceeded without any errors. However we are occasionally running into an issue with the database not returning a value\error after a stored procedure execution.

Does anyone have any ideas?

What perl version did you upgraded the Iwov one?

When a stored procedure fails, nothing gets returned from the database and the process just hangs. This started happening only with the DBD\DBI upgrade.

we have DBD 1.16 and wanted to upgrade to 1.19, DBI 1.4x to 1.5x.
we already have perl 5.8. Oracle 9i.
