Client Session Expired

Hello,

We are developing and application that will be launched from a TeamSite customized button. We send this application CSClient object.

We regenerate htmls and afterwards use CSWorkflow createWorkflow, but by the time ths script gets to this point we get a CSExpiredSessionException as it can take hours to get there. Is there anyway of maintaining session within the script so it is alive when its needed?

Currently the default expiration time for a session string (or a CSClient object) is 24 hours. This default can be overriden in iw.cfg. There is an entry called ui_login_lifetime in the authentication section. <iw-home>/etc/iw.cfg.example describes how to use it. The comment about webdesk UI and webdeskpro UI is outdated, but the current ContentCenter UI, and CSSDK use that default value for session expiration.
