We are using FormAPI to set visible the correct product type attributes depending upon what product type is returned from a callserver function - i.e. many types of products are available but each DCR is only of one type.
We successfully setVisible(false) all product types on init (which are held in a container); but then when we attempt to make just one of the sub-containers visible, no luck. A snippet of the DCT is:
<!-- #### Product Type-specific attributes. Each product type is its own container. -->
<container name="productType" >
<container name="aed">
<inline command="c:\iw-home\iw-perl\bin\iwperl c:\iw-home\custom\bin\include_template.ipl c:\iw-home\custom\config\aed.txt"/>
</container>
<container name="supply">
<inline command="c:\iw-home\iw-perl\bin\iwperl c:\iw-home\custom\bin\include_template.ipl c:\iw-home\custom\config\supply.txt"/>
</container>
<container name="mri">
<inline command="c:\iw-home\iw-perl\bin\iwperl c:\iw-home\custom\bin\include_template.ipl c:\iw-home\custom\config\mri.txt"/>
</container>
</container>
The working setVisible code is: IWDatacapture.getItem("/productType").setVisible(false); which sets the whole container invisible. However, once we determine (or even hard-code) a subcontainer to setVisible(true) everything is still invisible. (i.e. IWDatacapture.getItem("/productType/aed").setVisible(true)

Also, we are doing a redraw just after the setVisible(true).
Does anyone have any ideas on how to make just a certain sub container visible?
