Hello,
I am confused ! as my interwoven material for version 5.0.1 say , as i quote "The Administration server software and the Operations server software must be installed on the same machine". Material contradicts it in the next paragraph as i quote "If you are installing the Administration server on a TeamSite server, you do not install the Operations server". How is this possible if i am working on only one Teamsite server/machine.
Thank you

I think it means that if you are installing the OD base on the TeamSite box then you don't need to install the Operations server. The first paragraph you mention is probably talking about if you are installing your OD stuff on a non-TeamSite box.

It's not a contradition. The Admin server needs an instance of the Op server in order to run. TeamSite already
has
an instance of the Op server. Therefore, if you install the admin server on a TS box, there's no need for an extra Op server install. If, however, TS is
not
installed on the Admin server box, then you need the standalone Op server that comes with OD.
