OD not cleaning up after itself

Solaris 8 OpenDeploy Version: 5.6.0.1.0 Build 21220 Interwoven 20030618

We have an issue with OpenDeploy occassionally leaving some .iwold files laying around. For example, there is a pdf file that was deployed to one of our web servers, but the iwold file is hanging around.

Since then, there have been other successful deployments to the same node on the 28th and 29th of April using the same deployment descriptor. So why isn't OD cleaning this iwold file up?

Did those deployments include the same file as the original deployment?

Well, if the deployment included the same file and it was transactional (or non-transactional) both times, then I think the dangling transient file should have been cleaned up.

You might want to open a case with Tech Support to see if they can reproduce the problem. Perhaps the inability to clean up the transient file is related to it getting left behind in the first place.
