Custom Menu Items in 6.1

Hi Folks-

I am having a **** of a time trying to get a TS CMI (custom menu item) working in TS 6.1 (Solaris 8).
I can get it to work from the command-line, but when I try and do it from TS, Internal Server Error, over and over and over.

I keep getting (8) Exec format errors. SHe-bang line does not seem to be an issue, and there are no Control M characters anywhere.

Any thoughts on this. My UNIX permissions also allow execution (775).

I am adding the file to iw-bin and then adding it as a custom menu item in ui_custom.xml (as per the examples from the UICG documentation).

Is there something more I should be doing?

Did you also run the make_toolkit.ipl script? to process the config changes and restart the services as needed?

You may want to read this article on the support site in order to make sure that your CMI is using the wrapper and that it's compatible with TeamSite 6.x.

Or don't use the wrapper and make sure your CMI uses the supported form variables instead.

yes, you'd need to wrap your file using a wrapper (adapter) that IWOV has provided. It's needed becaise TS 6 uses different environment, at least different from 5.5.2
