Delete Permission
artor
Hi,
I create the file in WA, TeamSite sets the 664 permission on that file and then submit the file to SA.
After that when i go back to WA and try to delete the file, pop up window appears on the screen
and says
""You don't have the permission to delete the file"
I checked my permission because i m the owner of the file and also the member of the group who
owns the file and using Teamsite as a Master role or Administrator role.
I am on Solaris 5.8 and TeamSite 6.1.
Before submitting the file to SA, file has 664 permission(both from teamsite properties and Unix)
AFter submitting file, Teamsite shows the 664 permission but unix shows the 444 permission in WA that
is quite weird.
However i can update and write the files inspite of this permission problem but unable to delete files.
One important thing that I don't have sumbit.cfg and autoprivate.cfg for applying the rules. So in that case
teamsite should retains the same permission but it is not happening.
Please advise me.
Regards,

Is a workflow being run when you submit the file to STAGING? Perhaps there's a task there that's explicitly changing the permission of the file
You might also check the permission of the directory that contains the file. If you don't have write permission in the directory, then you'll be able to change the file, but not delete it. Of course, you wouldn't have been able to CREATE it either, but perhaps they were changed after the file was created.
