How to limit the bandwidth used by OpenDeploy?
RonaldV
Hi,
would it be possible to limit the bandwidth used by OpenDeploy?
In our situation OpenDeploy is sharing the network to our 'datacenter' with other apps & users. These tends to get thrown of the network once OpenDeploy starts a big deployment.
Any hints? Tips?
We are currently on OD 5.6 but planning to migrate some time next year.
Thanks, Ronald

Todd will have to chime in here - but I believe the folks at BC/BS asked about a feature request for being able to throttle the network bandwidth of OD at the OD conference held in NYC about a month ago - so my guess is the answer is "no - not yet - but there's a FR #xxxx for adding this" and you can get your organization's name attached to that FR.

It's also possible that your switch might have some traffic shaping/QOS features built in. If so, you might be able to limit the bandwidth only for port 20014. You'll have to ask your network gurus about that, though.

Yup, feature request #52924.

Thanks all,
I'll contact support for the FR and talk to our network guys.
