passing values to the child workflow
System
I have a Scenario where I have a nested workflow.
The job definition screen of the parent workflow has the fields like:
1. job title (textbox)
2. job description (textarea)
3. review manager (dropdown)
.
.
.
The job definition screen of the nested workflow is exactly the same as the job definition screen of the parent workflow. The only difference is the first two fields (i.e. job title and job description) are not there.
The requirement is to keep the job title and job description same as what was defined from the Job description screen of the parent workflow. Other fields should also retain the value seleted from the Job description screen of the parent workflow but can be changed here.
Is it possible to pass the value to the job definition screen of the nested workflow? if yes, how? if Not, is there any workarround?
TIA.

How do you define the job description and job title within the wft of the parent workflow?
How do you define the job description and job title within the wft (or job description file) of the nested workflow?
I'm not sure about the job title - but you should certainly be able to pass in or set the job description field in the nested workflow based on information you can retrieve from the parent task's workflow using the TeamSite::WFtask and TeamSite::WFworkflow modules.
