InsertAsset and HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Err

Hi friends,
In my application used “InsertAsset “ to Upload an Asset.
It was working well and few days back I installed “MediaBin Deployment Agent Web Client and MediaBin Hot Folder”, after that “InsertAsset “gives “HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error. and MBException: Referring to the object is an object. It is not set as the instance.
Log File error is,

Exception in Primitive {777AD4FD}! Reason = Parameter needed but unusable, Message = BMP: Couldn't open input file.
ERROR: Job {10997B49-C761-4974-9EE8-ABF91B353CC8} Setting parameters in primitive BMP Decoder. RC = The operation failed. Check the log output for details

yes only InsertAsset web service call..
getting following exception
MBException : Object reference not set to an instance of an object..
Before installing MediaBin Syndication manager etc, it was working fine..

Note: This happens in Interwoven's Java sample application also.

Hmmm. That error is sent by the server and means that the file was not received by the server. The server tries to open the file witha variety of image formats to determine its type, starting with BMP. Usually this sort of 3error would indicate a configuration error. In short, the file to be uploaded is not where the server was told it was (or possibly the permissions are messed up and the server is unable to open it).

There are numerous possible causes. A disk might be full, or the directories can be misconfigured.

Can you reproduce the problem in either the web or Windows Native Clients? If not, that would narrow the focus on the web services API.
