generating asp files
Renata
my client has a requirement to generate.ASP output files
files do get genrated, howver, the two lines from presentation templates are being inserted into the genrated output, i.e. <?xml ...?> and <iw_pt ...> apear as the first two lines in my output fiels ...
as a result my output is being treated as XML and doesn't render properly.
Should htese lines be there? if I remove them I can view the files no problem ... has anyone ancountered similar problem?
thanks in advance -- ro

You should be able to generate ASP file - no problems. Seems like you might not have the PT tags correct. If you attach your presentation template somebody will be able to point out whats wrong with it.

Try this:
<iw_pt name="index"/>
<html>
<head>
<title><iw_value name='dcr.page_info.page_title'/></title>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="/styles/menuStyle.css" type="text/css"/>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="/styles/styles.css" type="text/css"/>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"/>
<!--
use global include
-->
<iw_include pt='/includes/JScript_incl.tpl' mode='docroot'/>
</head>
<body bgColor="white" leftMargin="0" topMargin="0" rightMargin="0"
marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">
<!--

<iw_include pt='/includes/header_incl.tpl' mode='docroot'/>
