datadeploy and websphere

Hi all,

we have problems to get our DataDeploy installation work. It is not possible to start the DataDeploy Service:

"Could not start the Interwoven DataDeploy service on Local Computer.
Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly."

We are running TS6.1 on a Win2000 (SP4) Server. The preview of dynamic content is handled by a Websphere 3.5 Application Server, which is installed on the same machine.

Interwoven recommends to run the TeamSite/DataDeploy installation on a dedicated server, which means that no other application like an application server should be installed on the same server.

So the application server might be the problem.

Did anyone with an application server running on the same machine got DataDeploy working?

You may have a port conflict problem. You should look into what ports Websphere 3.5 is using and what ports DataDeploy is using.

Also, what are you DataDeploy logs saying when it fails?

Not even uninstalling Websphere changed the situation. The DataDeploy service do not start.
It seems to be a OS Problem. We'll try to reinstall the whole server. Hopefully that works ...
