Limitations of UI Customization in 6.1

I have stumbled on a limitation is customizing the UI in TeamSite 6.1. We are trying to remove all instances of the "Tag" feature in CCPRO. I am able to remove it from the File Menu in the Content Tab, and the File Actions Menu in workflow.

Then we get into "Headings". I would also like to remove it when a user selects "Properties" for a file in CCPRO. It appears at the top along with "Versions". Then when a user selects "Versions", it appears twice more - in between "Compare Versions" and "Properties" as well in an action list for each version of the file (i.e. with undo changes, compare to staging etc.)

Any ideas on how to get around this? The UICG for 6.1 states:

..."Headings cannot be deleted, but action lists contained inside heading can be deleted..."

This should be supported in future releases of the product IMHO. Thoughts?

you should be able to remove the tag link from the following ui elements:
iw.ccpro.file_properties.heading
iw.ccpro.list_file_versions.heading
iw.ccpro.list_file_versions.current_file.action-list
iw.ccpro.list_file_versions.action-list

I have reset the TeamSite UI more times than you want to know. The documentation should provide some examples if the poster above (Interwoven engineer) is correct in their assumption.

When customizing GUI behavior for the filesystem in CCPRO, I have been referencing ref_ccpro_ui_filesys.xml. Everything seems to be present. Then I noticed something:

This is the action-list when a user is in the Versions view. The options Undo Changes, Compare to Staging, Submit Details, Properties are listed.

My view in TeamSite shows the Tag option, why is that not listed here? A little confused on this one.

Just look in the corresponding reference XML file (filesys) for any refs to "_iw.ccpro.list_extended_attributes.link". Then use <iwov-delete> in ui_custom.xml to get rid of those.

I threw this together (copy and pasted from the refs) , but you'd probably want something like this in ui_custom.xml ---

The link for "tag" should be in the action-list definition. I just checked the ref_ui_filesys.xml for ccpro.
Could you have possibly deleted it by accident (in an attempt to remove the tag link from the heading???)
