Turning Off Transitional Comment Popups Revisited

In a previous thread on this list, the topic of suppressing the popups that prompt for user input was discussed in great length. From the thread, it seems that this functionality was supposed to be included in v6. I've installed v6, and started a workflow related to TFO. The only reason for the workflow is to prevent the file from being submitted to staging during the "Check In" procedure. There's no other purpose in the workflow at all. I don't want any popups prompting for comments, just copy the file back to the workarea and exit.

My question is, has the functionality to supress the comment popups been implemented? I haven't been able to decipher it from the documentation. I have the workflow doing what it's supposed to do otherwise.

Any input would be appreciated!

Transition comments are inline in 6.x rather than pop-ups. They are included in the task details/task transition pages. If you have no tasks to transition (ie no interactive tasks) then you'll never need to enter a transition comment. If you do have interactive tasks, you still don't have to enter transition comments and the comment box is on the same window as the rest of the transition information.

Well, SOMETHING'S popping up a window Smiley Happy

I removed all of the text from the workflow except for the 'endtask' command, and now it's loading up a window with the teamsite GUI inside.. Most odd.

How are you kicking off the workflow? What version of TeamSite and what OS?

TeamSite 6.0 on Solaris 8. The workflow is being triggered by checking a file into teamsite through Front Office:

I've never used workflows (as is probably obvious), so i'm stumbling somewhat blindly here. The only purpose of the workflow is to interrupt the default behaviour of TFO, which automatically submits the file to staging after you save it. The workflow does cause this to be broken, and now the file is left on the workarea instead of being submitted.

For the workflow itself, all i have is:

As i don't want it to actually DO anything.
