Can someone confirm what version of Verity Ultraseek comes bundled with TeamSite 6.5?

TeamSite 6.5 does include a Search capability, which is Verity.

TeamSite 6.5 Search uses Verity technology in the backend. The specific versions of Verity products that we use are:

Verity VDK 5.0.1 Patch 15.91464 and
Verity KeyView Filter v8.1a
