6.1 BUG : 51198

For those who have hidden callouts on one row... this functionality breaks with 6.1.

This issue of hidden element not working with rowcontinue has already been identified as bug (BUG: 51198) and unfortunately its fix has been deferred.

I been trying to find out if any workaround is possible in this case to achieve similar functionality but so far I have not been successful.
I’ll update you soon on this case whether or not we can provide you a temporary fix

Here at my client, we have discovered a workaround for this bug (Thanks for posting it, BTW), assuming you were using hidden items with callout buttons to just put a button on the DCT (which is what we are doing).

Instead of using a <hidden> item, use a <checkbox> item with no <option> elements. According to the DTD, this technically isn't valid, but it does work. Hopefully, IWOV will fix the rowcontinue with <hidden> before they enforce the DTD to make <checkbox> contain <option>s (although, the DTD allows an <inline> instead of <option>, so you could make a dummy inline that returned no options if they do start enforcing the DTD).

We've just done a quick test of this on both TS 5.5.2 and 6.1 and it appears to work on both. If anyone has any feedback on this, I would welcome it.
