Removing IE Toolbars in TeamSite6.1

We're using TeamSite6.1 on Windows 2003 I have had numerous requests to see if we can eliminate the standard IE toolbars and the status bar from the UI in the Content Center Standard and Content Standard Pro. I am relatively certain that this can be done but in this new environment, I am not sure how to do it. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated

TeamSite got rid of this "feature" when they stopped using the popup window for the UI when you log in.

You might be able to do something by playing around with iw-webd/conf/rewrite.conf.template. If the "raw" URL comes in, redirect to a custom-written page which pops up a new window without the "decoration" you don't want, and then modify it in some way such that your rewrite rule realizes that it should leave it alone.
