SQL queries

Has anyone worked with creating SQL queries that for example retrieve all milestone objects from all workspaces in a facility? I'm currently mining through the SDK and doing some trial and error queries and was wondering if anyone had some tips or specific sections of the SDK documentation that were appropriate.

We are currently using Microsoft Access and an ODBC connector as a workaround. You can import the MP tables into Access then manually go through and create connectors to the appropriate tables (the <SID> field should be used throughout the connectors). We have been able to create reports that list tasks, milestones, issues, etc. by: user assigned, workspace, project, etc. It has been extremely helpful as a management tool.

I am looking to write a query that returns a recordset of: which users uploaded which documents in this particular workspace and this particular project, and this particular folder. Do you have any idea how to write this query?

In the original toolkit, found in the tech library here, Interwoven has released 3 crystal report files that do something similar. You can copy their SQL query from those reports and run it direct with a little modification (add username, password and workspace name etc...)
