Opendeploy not working

Hi,
I am trying to deploy a directory from the Statging area of interwoven to some other directory through open deploy.The deployment fails giving the following error in the reciever log of interwoven.
Sender-ERROR: ERROR: Failed to process src directory (.\KMSite).
ERROR: Failed deploying local_directory[0] (Y:\default\main\ACBS\STAGING) to (e:\acbs\acbsdev\acbs_home\operations)
ERROR: Failed 1 of 1 local_directories
We are running Opendeploy 5.6 on win2k.
Any sort of help is appreciated.

Could you provide more details -- I don't know if there is enough information in your initial post for people to help you. Please post the full deployment configuration, full details for this deployment from all the logs. In this case at a first guess the problem appears to be related to the sender, not the receiver.
Is the problem specific to this particular deployment? Or have you been able to run other successful deployments from this source, to this target? Are you attempting to run the deployment from the command line? If so include the command you are using...

Is "e:\" a local drive / partition on the target server? or a mapped drive?

Hi Michael,
Thanks for your prompt response.
I have configured the same machine to be sender as well as reciever..i.e. From Open Deploy just wanted to deploy content from Staging area to some other directory.
I have tried couple of deployments for deplying content on this server using the same setup. But when the source area points to "Y:"(Content directory for Interwoven)..It fails.
I am running the deployments through admin UI of opendeploy.
From the log files it is evident that connections are done successfully.
I am enclosing the log files and the deployment configuration file for reference.

Your config file looks good. I don't know exactly why it is failing...but I am guessing it may have something to do with permissions... however it looks like the source can read the source directories and the target can read the target directories

So I am presuming it is a permissions problem when it goes to write the files/directories on the target.
Do the files you are attempting already exist at the destination? (You may have copied them there manually). Are they writable by the OpenDeploy user? Don't forget to check also the Read-Only attribute on these files/directories in the target location -- this can be a bit of a gotcha when you copy things from STAGING or a CD or such.

I have to go with Michael on this - from the log files it looks like there is a permissions issue with the KMSite directory in the *source* area.
