Add WorkSpace Shortcut to MyMatters

I'm having trouble adding a WorkSpace shortcut to "MyMatters" - the root subscription folder.

The SDK example(s) always demonstrate:

A) Add a new "category" subscription folder to MyMatters
Add a new WorkSpace Shortcut to the new category folder.

However, it is apparent through the U/I of DeskSite/FileSite, that you can add a Workspace Shortcut directly to MyMatters. It is that which causes me anguish. I Receive this error:

Runt-Time Err -2147418113

[SubscriptionSubfolders][AddNewPageShortcut]An unrecognized exception has occurred.

I'd be glad to forward code snippets, but has *anyone* successfully added a workspace shortuct to MyMatters ?

It's quite similar to using the example code in SDK80SampleApp:UserMatters.cs:AddWorkspaceShortcutToCategory(). This function demonstrates how to get a handle to the workspaceshortcuts collection off of a subscriptionfolder, then off of the workspaceshortcuts collection, add a workspace object by calling the method AddNewWorkspaceShortcut or AddNewWorkspaceShortcutInheriting. The only difference is getting a workspaceshortcuts collection from the MyMatters subscriptionfolder instead of from the category subscription folder (as demonstrated in AddWorkspaceShortcutToCategory()).

I tested adding a workspace shortcut directly under a MyMatters successfully using the code snippet below:
