Terminating workflow during MetadataCapture task
System
TS 6.1 Win2K
In my workflows, Metadata Capture is the first task.
When the user enters submit comments, it is possible for him to click on the submit button more than once before the workflow is started.
Because of this, my metadata capture task is getting started multiple times.
Now if the user wants to remove the reduntant task, there is no way for him to delete it unless he asks the Master to do it for him.
I'm planning to add a timeout in Metadata capture task.
Is there any better way of handling this?
Is there any way to disable multiple clicks of submit button?
TIA

Report this as a bug - Interwoven should be able to use some fairly simple javascript code to deactivate the Submit button as soon as it's clicked to prevent double-clicking (Interwoven Support supplied such code for previous versions of TeamSite so that customers could "patch" the Run Job button in WDP)

I was directed to a kb article by the support for the rmulti-click problem.
The article says that this is a known problem with TS 5.5.2 but not with TS 6.0 and above.
I checked the source of the workflow intiator screen.
In TS 6.1, 'Submit' is an 'href' unlinke a button in TS 5.5.2.
So the problem can't be solved by the earlier Javascript that they provided.
I haven't heard anything from the support yet.
Can anyone please try to replicate this problem?
While starting the workflow, on the workflow instantiator screen, click the submit button multiple times and the first workflow task will be started multiple times.
The problem more frequent when mouse sensitivity is high.
TIA
