CC Std Submit/Workflow Wizard

TeamSite 6.0

I want to know if I can customize the file submit/workflow wizard to skip the workflow feedback or "Submission succeeded " step ?

Basically our users are going to keep their files in Work in Progress area and submit them when done (submit wizard, I think). They choose a workflow to submit the file(s). After successful file/workflow submission there is a "Submission succeeded" step which gives users an option to add the file(s) to "My Favorites" area, the users then have to click "Done" to go back to their home portal page. Is there a way to skip this step, so the users can directly go to their homepage?

Thanks in advance.

It is possible by modifying a web app file in the TeamSite source. I will say that this is unsupported so use at your own risk.

File
iw-home\httpd\webapps\content_center\csstd\workflow\workflow_feedback.jsp

Add the following at line 43 (above the code String wfCommand = nj_ctx.getWorkflow_command();)

response.sendRedirect(dp_ctx.getDonePage());

This will automatically redirect the user to the done page without showing the confirmation step.

You will have to recompile (or embed in war file and install web apps) depending upon whether your web apps are pre-compiled or not.

I did something similar where if my done page was equal to the generic window closer page, I would automatically close the window without showing the confirmation like so:

/****** BEGIN CUSTOM CODE ********/
// Redirect and close window if set to the correct done_page target
if (dp_ctx.getDonePage().toString().equals("/iw-cc/teamsite/common/close_window.html")) {

 response.sendRedirect(dp_ctx.getDonePage());
}
/****** END CUSTOM CODE ********/

Again, use at your own risk. Let me know if you need more info.
