OD problem when IIS proxy is present

Base- OD 5.5.1 - Solaris 8
Receiver- 5.5.1 - Win 2K- IIS 4 with proxies setup to Weblogic

After OD is installed pages that proxy through IIS to Weblogic cannot be displayed or have downloads affected. Some functionality is lost but not all
Stoppping the OD service does not correct the problem
Uninstalling OD does not fix until the server is restarted, then all is back to normal again
I am thinking it may be a .dll that is getting registered, but am in the process of checking that.
Anyone had a similiar problem or have any ideas?
