Reading through existing Custom Properties

Hello Techies--

Currently my code invokes the clload.exe command line utility to overwrite the existing values stored for custom29. I applied this solution when I was unable to get around the semaphore errors. clload.exe gets the job done--however-- now that the semaphore error on the Admin Logon I've been experiencing earlier has disappeared, (thanks to one of Neilm's posts today) I would like to replicate clload.exe's functionality through the SDK. So, how does one actually cycle through the existing collection for a given custom attribute searching for a specific value? In the object browser I did see CreateSearchItems under Database2--but that appears to apply to user search items on the Add. Have I missed somelthing?

As always, any direction or help on this matter will be greatly appreciated!

Use the IManage.dll to call SearchCustomAttributes method which is off of the Database Object. See COM Reference Manual for WorkSite 8.0.pdf (SDK 8.0) or iManCOMManual.pdf (pre 8.0 SDK) for further clarification.
