Backing Store Size

Has anyone done any scalability testing with Backing Store sizes? We are looking at backing stores in the 100's of GB range. Trying to see if IWOV or anyone has done any benchmarks on this?

We had (until a spinoff of one division) a backingstore or 90+ GB. It was a 4 way MP Solaris
server on 552 and Solaris 2.8, about 300 users

Backups were the biggest pain as they took several hours.

No scalability issues that we noticed.
