Dot underscore files in OS X and Solaris

Has anyone using OS X and a Solaris version of Teamsite had problems with . _ files copying to their Teamsite store? (The . _ files are OS X resource files) Thought about vetoing these files in SAMBA but would rather not have the files on the server at all. The dot underscore files appear when users copy files over our SAMBA mount. These files also show up when creating a new file through an app like BBedit. Has anyone been able to prevent these files from being copied?

PS Thanks to Interwoven for getting Teamsite 6.1 working in OS X. It's greatly appreciated here.

I haven't been making use of Samba for my TS connection - but I those files do occur when I connect to my PC and do drag-n-drop of files between them.

If you can figure out how to control it in Samba please let me know too.

Just using LaunchPad in its default mode doesn't have this problem

we use autoprivate on files that we don't want (ftp logs, dreamweaver notes, "Copy of ..."). not the solution you are after though.

there is an FR on being able to control file name conventions, perhaps a common solution could work ... i.e. disallow "._" files.
