Target File Deletion

Hi,

when the deployment type is "filelist deployment" , how do we ensure that the files in the target are also deleted when we delete a file from WORKAREA and STAGING.
I tried out by enabling the "doDeletes" option in the xml file but it is not working fine.
Can u please help.

you need to include these in your filelist.

So if you delete a file

say abc/xyz.html

then

abc/xyz.html needs be in your filelist.

filielist deployment simply moves over what is in your filelist.
If you have doDeletes on and a filelist entry does not exist in your sourcearea, it will be removed on the target.

If you are still having problems it would be a good idea to attach your deployment configuration file to a post and see if anyone can see if there is anything obviously wrong.
