Passing Variable to 'list' attribute of iw_iterate

How can we pass PERL VARIABLE to 'list' attribute of <iw_iterate> TAG

I am not able to pass the value for 'list' attribute of <iw_iterate> TAG using PERL variable

Here is the Sample Code :
<iw_perl>
<![CDATA[
$xPath = 'dcrObject.' . $rootContainer . '.boardCommittees';
]]>
</iw_perl>

<iw_iterate var='link' list='{iw_value name=($xPath)/}'>
<iw_value name="link.linkLabel"/>
</iw_iterate>

-------------------------------------------------------
But if I am hardcording the 'list' attribute value , its working fine
i.e., <iw_iterate var='link' list='dcrObject.aboutDetail.boardCommittees'>

Can anyone suggest the sollution , I want to use PERL variable instead of hardcoding it

Johnny

I don't think the list attribute will evaluate any tags like that (unlike the expr attribute)
try retrieving the list before hand..

<iw_perl>
<![CDATA[
@xPath = iwpt_dcr_list( 'dcrObject.' , $rootContainer , '.boardCommittees');
]]>
</iw_perl>

<iw_iterate var='link' list='{iw_value name=(@xPath)/}'>
<iw_value name="link.linkLabel"/>
</iw_iterate>
