Hi Friends,
We are planning to use MediaBin and TeamSite in our application.
Application is all about maintaining the musical instruments information like spec,features and images.
For example piano,
1 .Information about piano(Assume model no as P001) is in postgreSQL database called �gGlobalGateway�h.
2. Images of pianos(P001) are maintained in MediaBin Server.
Now, our questions are,
1. we are planning to develop website in PHP, in this case I can get the information of Piano model number P001 from postgresql by making connection(PHP). How can we connect to mediaBin server in order to get images of Piano Model P001?.
Please give me some architecture using PHP,PostgreSQL(information server),Teamsite(deployment) and Mediabin(image server).

MediaBin has a Web Services API. This is the simplest choice for accessing MediaBin from PHP. You will want to find a SOAP library to use with PHP and access MediaBin via this interface.

I would note that I am not aware of anyone else who has tried to do this yet; however, it is certainly possible.

PEAR has a few SOAP modules http://pear.php.net that may help. Ideally you'd want something that could accept the MediaBin WSDL and generate PHP stubs for the MediaBin API. I am not sure if the PEAR SOAP classes can do that. You may need to search further. If you just have a couple of API calls you plan to use, you may just be able to manually set up the few API calls you need for your application.
