TeamSite 5.x Performance Issues - Phantom Locks

I've recently become aware of a long-standing performance issue in 5.x. Apparently if you have a folder with a bunch of locked files in it, then you delete the folder (not the individual files), the files still remain locked. If you're deleting a lot of locked files this way, you can quickly get to the 500 lock maximum and start hitting severe performance issues.

You can use iwlistlocks to find the locked files and you can use iwunlock to unlock locked files which have been deleted.

I've been told that this issue is fixed in 6.x.
