TeamSite 6.5 Regen
Ottawa_IWOV
All-
Trying to perform a regeneration in TeamSite 6.5. Just changing a static piece of information in the PT, but it is not being reflected when the [age is regenerated. Any idea on this one?
This is a big problem. Seems the first regen works fine, then sub-sequent regens do NOTHING.
We are on Windows 2003, TeamSite 6.5
Thanks,

Hi,
What are you looking at to determine that the file has not been changed? Are you looking at the virtualized output file, or are you looking at the timestamp?
If you're looking at the virtualized file (and you're using IIS, which I assume you are, as you're on Win03), have you *completely* disabled the IIS cache (via the registry)? I had this same problem on TS 5.5.2 - making the change to the registry solved it. This hasn't been a problem so far with our TS 6.5 install, so I haven't tried this solution on IIS 6. KB article 48906 has more details.

Might you be able to provide some details on disabling the caching in IIS 6.0?

Did you take a look at the output file through file system or VPreview, any change there? That way, you can rule out the possible IIS cache issue. Another possibility is that I know "smartwrite" flag is turned on for generate, maybe you can check if your content is really changed between two generates.
