We need to get the lastest dat from an Oracle DB and sync them into the SQL Server Worksite DB. Because we don't have info regarding what have been changed since last sync, what we do is to pull all of the necessary data from Oracle DB and dump them into a flat file and use clload utility to upload them into the right custom tables.
We soon noticed the data upload (92000 records) done by clload takes a long time. We did some comparison between clload and bulk insert method:
CLLoad Bulk Insert
220 sec. 8 sec.
Is bulk insert a better solution? Has anyone used it to upload the custom data? What else options do we have? Any suggestions are very welcome.
