Hi All-

I have a CGI task that is collecting some information from a workflow user. I have set of checkboxes. If one is selected, the value is read into my externla task ala GetVariable no problem.

However, if more than one value is selected I get on of those
ARRAY(x83943) references. How can I parse this in my ET to get the values selected?

Use the ref function to see whether you got a scalar value for the field or an array. See

perldoc -f ref

for details. If it's a scalar, handle it as usual. If it's an array ref, dereference it and iterate over it - e.g.

foreach my $foo (@{$checkbox_var_name}) {
#Do stuff here, like join it or whatever
}
