Visual Formatter on Mac clients
System
Hi,
Could any one suggest me what are the options available to make Visual Formatter work on Mac clients?
We are using Mozilla 1.6 browser here. Teamsite 6.1 is installed on Solaris.
If this is not possible use Visual Formatter, what are the other options available for formatting within DCR.
Thanks much

According to
Ektron's site
, it looks like eWebEditPro will work on a Mac client - but it seems to require using a Windows server as a Remote Desktop client too (I'm not sure I completely understand the information on their website) - and it isn't clear whether this could be used with the existing Ektron software that comes with TeamSite, or whether you'd have to also replace that with different software too.
There might be some other editors out there that will work but they may not be free and/or they may require figuring out how to integrate with TeamSite.
You could probably use a stand-alone editor that provides both HTML and raw-code modes - and then cut-n-paste, but that doesn't provide you any kind of control over the editing choices.

just a little addition.
there is a company in Australia called Ephox (
http://www.ephox.com/
) - they are making a Java-based Edit Live editor, they claim it worked on Macs with TeamSite...
These guys have no my respect (for ethical reasons), but I thought all the options should be mentioned..

Hmm - interesting - the demo works from Safari (which isn't supported by Interwoven) - but I imagine it would work from Mozilla too (which Interwoven does support for TS6.1).
Would you be willing to expand on the ethical issues you have with the company?

Thanks much.
Are you aware of any implementations done with ephox Edit Live for Java on Non - Windows platform (Mac)? If yes can you share few tips on how to integrate this with Teamsite!!
Also may any body suggest how this on line editing functionality (as provided by eWebEditPro) is handled for Non-windows clients?
Thanks
