My current setting is : iw.cfg : impersonate_without_password=false.iwutild.cfg: for iwpt_compile: impersonate="false". I read somewhere that impersonate_without_password has no impact after SP1 but running iwutild in debug mode suggests that it is still used. I also tried all combinations of true, false but no avail. I read that perl PT are not supported with LDAP users and we have to migrate to XSLT PT compilers. Is it REALLY TRUE ? Error log iwutild have this information: Error: LogonUser failure user=username; domain=domain; argCount=18; errCode=1385; cmd=IWHOME\iw-perl\bin\iwperl.exe IWHOME\bin\iwpt_compile.iplAny thoughts please .. ??Regards,
I have seen that posted from people who would know. So I tend to beleive it. However I also know that in my Win2003 6.7.1SP1 implementation, we use only domain accounts (with people in LOCAL groups) and perl TPLs work great. SO I am not certain exactly what the restriction is, but this config works for me.I did not do anything special when I created the local group (DotComUsers), i.e. I did not set log on locally or anything like that.Andy
The permissions may have lost while you may be playing around with the workarea Check for the group permissions on the workarea and /templatedata folder and any other folder which is used for preview.
