Worksite Web Trusted Login

Hey all. We use WSW 8.0 and I'd like to globally switch on auto trusted login for users on our internal WSW server. Trusted login is enabled and working on the server but the option to globally have all users auto-trusted login appears to be on a per-machine basis (within the manage options).

Does anybody happen to know whether this option sets a reg key, and if so which? I need to switch all users to auto trusted and am hoping we can throw a reg key out.

This option used to be soley controlled under user options within WSW. By setting that, it places a cookie on the user's machine. In the past firms have pushed out the cookie's to the local machines to make this happen. It's not an elegant solution, nor an easy one.

However, now I believe that you can globally set an auto-trusted login option in the options.xml file. You can edit this via the GUI by logging into WSW as NRTAdmin and editing the options. You'll should see it under "Manage", "Global Options", "Application Settings".

Login as an Administrator in WorkSite Web. Go to Manage -- > Global Options and set the "Auto Trusted Login" to ON as shown in screen shot below.
