TeamSite6.7.2 SP1 Cannot Delete or rename files

we are using TeamSite6.7.2 SP1 on a Windows2003 server and we cannot delete or rename files from any workarea. It doesn't seem to be a permission issue since we can delete from the file system OK. Any suggestions?

What role are you using on that branch ? Does that user have the ability to delete/rename on that branch ? Check the admin tab -> Roles and permissions -> Manage Roles -> Edit the speciifc role you are using -> Files forms and folders

what do you mean by you can't delete or rename files in TeamSite? are you in CCstd/CCpro interface? are the menu items greyed out and you can't select them? if they're not greyed out do you get any errors when you try to perform the function? what do your log files say? Are you sure you have the proper teamsite permissions set up on the branch/workarea for the users to delete/rename files?

a bit more detail is needed.

fyi, the file system permissioning can be different fromm teamsite permissioning.

Guys, Even I am facing similar kinda issue, I have checked the perms in workarea and on file system all are good, just to mention I dint have this issue on the base release tats 672, this is happening when I put SP1 patch over it.

I have this issue with all the roles including Master who has full perms in the Workarea Smiley Sad

me also faced the same issue in solaris 10 environemt.

Monitor your servletd log file when you try to delete and / or rename files and post that on here. More than likely it is caused due to a missed post-install task by whoever installed TS 6.7.2 SP1.

forgot to update, we just resolved this by removing "database.properties
" file reference from all the locations and reconfiguring Livesite dev/prod Database properties and re-building webapps.........
