Architecture in Interwoven System

Hi,

We have 1200 websites to be configured in single system.

If we login to the system, it is taking lot of time to load all the folders into the system. can you please let us know is there any way to increase the performance?

Hi swathi,

Check your TeamSite Server is sized properly, and is not overloaded.
Following can cause TeamSite performance issues,

1) Cache file size improperly set
2) Low Disk Space
3) Excessive log file size
4) Excessive number of work areas
5) Excessive replicants in your DCT's
6) Large numbers of files in your branches and directories
7) Search installed on the same server as TeamSite
8) Certain Anti-Virus software applications have known issues with TeamSite /Virus Scanning the Y: Drive

this is one of the most important performance factor....

9) Non-Standard scripts and workflows that are consuming a large share of CPU cycles

check all these factors in your server.....

Yes I have 1200 workareas , even if i can remove the workareas if i merge into one single workarea they are different websites so the files generated will be spread across all the folders. So I should have 1200 folders in single workarea. Can you please let me know how can i prevent this?

Here is the structure diagram attached. Please see we will 1200 insurance carriers like StandardLife and AML.

For information i took snpshot of 2insurance carriers.

You didn't attach your diagram - however - if you have N sites - you should have [at least] N branches. The question then is how many workareas do you have per branch (I generally recommend trying to keep it to 1 workarea per branch, but it depends a lot on the content and the users).

Attached the screen shot. Like AML,StandardLIfe many more insurance carriers will come with different characteristics.
