adding user on TS6.5.0 SP 2

To add user on TS6.5.0 SP2, I can not add them from UI, right ?
I have to add user in configuration file in /iw-home/conf/roles/editor.uid and then he wuill be added on the TeamSite.

Pls correct , if I m wrong.

Secondly, we customization, in which we add users in the configuration file using UI. When I tried to edit editor.uid from UI, a window popped up asking me if I want tio run some java application. I clicked on "dont run", as I got an urgent work to look after. Now, when I click on edit on editor.uid, I dont get that message popping up. And I cant edit that editor.uid file. Why is that, how can I get this message popping up ?

Clear your explorer cookies and cache and the message should popup again

shall I delete everything ? When I check internet options, I get "delete cookies". Shall I delete all the cookies ?

Will it clear cache ? or do I have to "clear history" ?

Since I did not run java program last time, how come is it not being run now and how come is it in history ?
