DCR submit

Data capture form fields is provided with info. and submit.
DCR is creates and this is XML file. When workflow deploy to the website, how this XML file (DCR) is converted to HTML ?
If preview function is used, then teamsite ask for the presentation template to be used to ghenerate HTML. But if deploy workflow is instantiated, then DCR is directly submit to workflow. At what point is it convert to HTML file from XML file and how as no tpl is invoked ? As it not ask for the presentation tpl to be used, which tpl is used in case there are more than one ?

you need to write your TPL to get your final HTML pages from DCR. If there is more than one tpl, user will get the option to select which one s/he wants to use to generate the html page. you need to modify your deploy workflow so that these generated pages can get submitted to staging and /or editions get created. finally workflow should publish content from these editions or may be from staging areas.

Two ways to do the things running

1. Ask the user to generate HTML by shoosing appropriate TPL from the list and submit the generated HTML using workflow.

2. Submit your DCR and as one of the task create the html generation reading all the associated templates. In this approach you have to create a CGI task which lists all the templates to user to select the appropriate.
