Content delivery to PDA's Mobile from Teamsite

Hi,
I have a requirement to content delievry to PDA's and mobile.

1. A small version of CMS managed site to be accessble in PDA's and Mobile.
2. This content has to be delievered from CMS to PDA's and Mobile.
3. Pls suggest how complex and how it can be achiveable.
4. Pls provide any document/pdf refernce for help to proceed further.

Are you taking about delivery to, or generation of output for, PDA's?

The former is more of a URL / RSS or similar type issue.
The latter is a FormsPublisher PT development issue in which you have to generate distinct output for PDA's either as a separate output file or (better, IMO) using CSS (media="handheld" I believe) to alter the content and/or the manner in which it is displayed for PDAs as opposed to "screen".

As I mentioned for point 1 - you need a PT to generate the output file, and I recommend using CSS to distinguish aspects of the page to be rendered for PDA vs normal browser usage - though you could also use alternate PTs, alternate output files, etc. For the CSS approach I recommend searching the web as there are a number of articles that you may find on the subject matter.

As for number 2 - I would imagine that deploying content to a mobile server is pretty much the same as delivering to a web server - but frankly you should be able to find information about that from your local IT department or whomever is managing the site for your mobile applications.

1. What kind of Mobile Delivery Server supported/required
2. Is that require add on cost for procuring it.

"imagine" - similar to "guessing", as in "I do not know because I have not had to do this before".

Who in your company can explain to you how they serve pages for mobile users? Do they use the same web servers or do they use some other form of server? I am in no position to tell you how your company does what it does.
