Issues in renaming and deleting files in TS 672 SP1

Hello -

Recently we've upgraded our TeamSite environment from 671 to 672 SP1 (on Solaris 10) and observed some issues with deleting/renaming files or folders.

Whenever we rename/delete/move a file or folder in TeamSite GUI (both CCPro and CCStd), it gives null exception as below:

2009-09-08 15:13:54,765 WARN com.interwoven.ui.base.impl.command.CommandHandler - command iw.ccpro.move returned null
2009-09-08 15:13:26,213 WARN com.interwoven.ui.base.impl.command.CommandHandler - command iw.ccpro.rename returned null

Also there are some sql exceptions in the servletd logs, I've attached snippet of logs captured during delete operation.

Other operations like import, tag, preview, copy etc. are working fine.

Any pointers what might be the issue here?

More than likely it is caused due to a missed post-install task by whoever installed TS 6.7.2 SP1. Try running build.bat sql.update and more than likely it'll fix the problem.

Do you have DataDeploy/DAS configured ?

Is the util daemon running ?

Thanks Viral for your reply, we've done the SP1 post-install configurations and have executed build.sh sql.update, and it didn't throw any errors.

Yes Andy, we've DAS configured for our TS system and utild services are running.

Well either the DB configuration was changed or there is a permissions issue on the DB, maybe the specific user does not have authority to move/delete. But this implies the DB is not available:

2009-09-08 15:12:00,027 WARN com.interwoven.ui.base.impl.command.CommandHandler - Execute com.interwoven.livesite.iw.servlet.DeleteCommand error.

Check your JDBC connections again, reload the driver, etc.
